About Richard Dumont
Richard Dumont didn’t set out to become a realtor — he set out to build a life.
After relocating his family from Canada to Belize in search of more freedom and a simpler way of living, Richard found himself putting down real roots in the Corozal District, where he now helps others do the same.
His path into real estate wasn’t a snap decision. It grew out of watching David Kafka, a seasoned realtor whose approach and personality Richard genuinely admired, and choosing to join his team and follow his leadership.
Before real estate, Richard built a career from the ground up — literally. He spent years running his own pest control business, worked extensively with database systems, and has since taken on the role of manager and investor in a working farm in Belize. That hands-on, self-taught approach carries directly into how he works with clients: no shortcuts, no fluff, and a firm belief that everyone involved in a deal deserves the full picture — the good and the bad — before they sign anything.
Richard holds a bachelor’s degree and brings a practical, straightforward style to every transaction. Whether you’re relocating to Belize for the first time, searching for land, or looking to invest, Richard’s own journey — as someone who made that leap himself — means he understands exactly what you’re looking for, and why it matters.
When he’s not helping clients find their place in Corozal, you’ll likely find him fishing, working the farm, or building something with his own two hands.
