David Kafka is a global real estate leader, investor, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose journey in Belize began with a simple belief: real estate should be built on trust, education, exceptional service, and long-term relationships.
Originally from South Carolina, David served as a firefighter while also building a successful business as an entrepreneur. In 2009, he relocated to Belize with his family after falling in love with the country’s natural beauty, lifestyle, and opportunity. What began as a move toward a simpler life became a mission to bring greater transparency, professionalism, and ethical leadership to Belize’s real estate market.
Over the past 15+ years, David has become one of Belize’s most recognized real estate voices. As part of the launch of The Agency Belize, David partners with Dean and Kim Astren, two of his most accomplished real estate leaders. In 2025, David expanded his role as an educator and thought leader through his podcast, The Belize Real Estate Insider, which has been downloaded in more than 50 countries globally. Through the podcast, his writing, speaking, and client education, David is known for simplifying the Belize real estate process, dispelling misconceptions, and helping buyers and sellers make confident, informed decisions in a market without a centralized MLS.
